The P CL (Narrow Wedge Point with Left Groove) needle is designed to create a lenticular incision at right angles to the seam direction, resulting in a highly durable seam. The "PCL" variant features a left twist groove below the eye, ideal for hooks positioned to the right of the needle, while the "PCR" has a right twist groove for hooks on the left. This needle is particularly effective as the left-hand needle on twin needle lockstitch machines.
