Narrow Wedge Point (P) The Schmetz narrow wedge point needle creates a lenticular incision at a right angle to the seam direction, producing a seam with exceptional strength. The "PCL" needle has a left twist groove below the eye for hooks positioned on the right of the needle, while the "PCR" version has a right twist groove for hooks on the left. Ideal for use as the left-hand needle on a twin needle lockstitch machine.
