The MP170-W(P) Sew Mate White Cloth Marking Pencils are professional 170mm fabric marking pencils designed for accurate marking during sewing, embroidery, tailoring, dressmaking and garment production.

Supplied as a pack of 3 white pencils, they are particularly useful for marking dark and contrasting fabrics, where conventional darker marking colours can be difficult to see.

The marking material is protected inside a traditional wooden pencil casing, making the pencil comfortable and familiar to use while helping protect the marking core. It is used in much the same way as conventional tailors chalk but provides a pencil point for fine, controlled and precise fabric marking.

The marking compound is manufactured from a combination of wax, colour, clay and surfactant.

A brush cap is provided, allowing markings to be removed by light brushing where suitable. Always test the pencil on a spare or inconspicuous piece of fabric before marking the main work to ensure the marks can be removed satisfactorily.
