Light Ball Point (SES) The SES needle features a light ball point that gently displaces woven and knitted threads, ensuring precise penetration through the fabric without causing any damage.

SCHMETZ SERV 7 Fabric damage and skipped stitches are common issues when sewing elastic materials. To address these challenges, SCHMETZ developed the SERV 7 needle, which is available for nearly all needle systems, point shapes, and sizes. The SERV 7 needle is distinguished by its unique hump scarf, which creates a larger thread loop that is more easily caught by the hook, and its reinforced blade, which provides extraordinary stability. This design often allows for the use of a smaller needle size without sacrificing stability, thereby minimizing stitch holes and optimizing fabric displacement. The SERV 7 needles feature a 15% reinforcement, with some sizes offering up to 20% reinforcement, making them highly stable and resistant to bending. This design also prevents damage to the hook, looper, or other machine parts, such as the throat plate.
