Part-Time Sewing Machine Engineer (Potential for Full-Time)

Infinity Sewing Limited specialises in industrial sewing machines, garment cutting machinery, commercial ironing systems, sewing parts, accessories, and servicing. We provide expert repair and servicing for both industrial and domestic sewing machines, offering both in-house and on-site support to our customers.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Sewing Machine Engineer to join our team. The role involves assembling new industrial sewing machines, diagnosing faults, servicing, and repairing both industrial and domestic sewing machines. You will work from our workshop and also travel to customer locations to carry out repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and build new industrial sewing machines.
Diagnose and repair faults in industrial and domestic sewing machines.
Perform regular servicing and maintenance of sewing machines.
Travel to customer sites (businesses and individuals) for on-site repairs and servicing.
Provide technical advice and support to customers.

Requirements:

Experience in repairing and servicing industrial and domestic sewing machines.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A driving license is preferred but not essential (a company van may be provided based on workload).
