The Schmetz 134 LL needle is equipped with a twist point (LL / TW / LLCR) that creates a lenticular incision at a 135° angle to the seam direction, delivering a straight and slightly recessed seam. This unique geometry makes it an excellent choice for leather sewing applications, especially where the hook is positioned to the left of the needle.

The LL point ensures matching seam appearances across different machine setups—making it the ideal counterpart to the LR point, used with right-position hooks. This makes it particularly well-suited for footwear production, leather bag stitching, and precise shoe repairs.
